Sunday Night Service

Sunday evening worship is a little more “laid back” than the morning counterpart. The music style is still blended, but other aspects of worship may include drama, sharing from the congregation, or a good oldfashioned harmonica solo. Rather than a "sermon," Pastor Tim works through studies on different topics, sharing from the congregational level rather than from the pulpit.  One of the more recent studies dealt with the Biblical teachings on Forgiveness. Presently he is teaching on how Christians can feel secure in a troubled world.

Occassionaly, we have AHBC Movie Nights on Sunday evenings. In the past we have presented such movies as Fireproof, Amazing Grace, Faith like Potatoes, Soul Surfer, and The Grace Card. Sometimes we even take church "field trips" to Victoria to see a movie as a church family as we recently did with the movie, Courageous. Sometimes when the weather permits, which is most the time in south Texas, we even have a church-wide picnic and worship time at a local park. In other words, Sunday evening worship at AHBC is anything but traditional.
