Seniors

Special programs, activities, and ministries are planned and offered in addition to weekly Sunday School, worship, and Bible Study ministries for all senior adults at Alamo Heights Baptist.

A sampling of programs and activities offered include: wildflower tours and other day trips to interesting nearby spots, May-by-the-Bay senior adult camp at Texas Baptist Encampment in Palacios, Guadalupe Baptist Association senior events, Country Opera, Over 55, and Tuesday weekly lunch fellowship.

In the area of ministry, many of our senior adults serve in leadership positions in the church—teaching, committees, WMU, Men’s Ministry, Outreach Visitation, tutoring of local students, as well as special ministry and mission projects in our community and beyond.

Also, there is the J.B. Express, the most recent addition to Alamo Heights. This cart allows us to easily transport folks from Trinity Shores and other locations to AHBC & back.
